BC Election 2024: Key Insights and Analysis

David Eby is sly—he uses visuals to mislead voters in the BC Election. For instance, take a look at this flyer his constituents are distributing. Eby employs bright orange and a smiling, friendly face to create the impression that he is the positive choice. In contrast, he portrays John Rustad against a black background with an unfriendly image, attempting to paint him as the evil option. This tactic is not only corrupt but also typical of a lawyer manipulating public perception. If Eby genuinely intended to fulfill his promises, why hasn't he done so in the past seven years? Why hasn't he opened schools or trained healthcare professionals during this time? Why hasn't he reopened Riverview mental health facilities instead of giving precious land and heritage to Indigenous communities? It’s clear that Eby has changed in politics. He was appointed, never elected, as premier and has done little while in power, seemingly indulging in his own ego.

Eby lists falsehoods about John Rustad, claiming he will cut healthcare. Yet, no matter how many times he repeats this, it doesn’t transform a lie into the truth.

Simply put, all Eby does is attack his opponent in an American style because he feels threatened.

VOTE CONSERVATIVE and make your vote count— we NEED CHANGE, not the same old problems, crises, high costs of living, and carbon tax.

See here where David Eby uses a blue background purposely to confuse you about voting—blue is obviously a conservative color, and he knows it. Another trick he employs as a lawyer is bringing up John Rustad's past under a different government, like the liberals, when he had to toe the line. He also targets conspiracy theories because Rustad leans a little right. These are merely attacks. 

Eby CAN'T relate to you as he 'sits around a country kitchen table discussing issues,' yet he is a lawyer and premier making six figures, living in Point Grey in a big house worth five million, with a wife who is a doctor earning another six figures—a total of about $700,000 a year—and they have three kids who are healthy and attending private schools! 

Is he really relatable to our financial and health woes, including issues like Riverview mental health, or is he simply faking it and out of touch? 

I think he is simply out of touch.

David Eby was working on amending the BC land act to give Indigenous peoples veto power over crown land one year ago. However, he shelved this plan in March 2024 due to its unpopularity, fearing it would negatively impact the BC Election for him. If elected, he has stated he will bring it back, which could have severe consequences for BC!  

Do your research on this issue. The proposed changes would grant Indigenous groups immediate and significant authority over crown land in BC, as seen with Riverview mental health, which was originally privately owned before being transferred to the crown by the city of Coquitlam. This land was given to the city by a wealthy family in the 1800s, around 1890, for mental health purposes. This historical context is often overlooked but is crucial to understanding the situation, as Indigenous rights to this land were lost long ago.  

It's time to let it go. If elected, Eby will change BC more than ever and could potentially ruin it, just as Trudeau has done for Canada!

John Rustad aims to help rein in the overreach of Indigenous rights, which would be the right path for our province. Choose carefully in this BC Election. Rustad has also pledged to reopen Riverview! YES!!!

During the BC Election, David Eby made the controversial decision to fire all healthcare professionals who were not vaccinated. This led to families going broke as they sought to have a choice over their bodies, resulting in our healthcare system being in shambles. Eby had 7 years to train up people in roles like those at Riverview mental health, so why suddenly make promises about schooling? It seems it's all about the votes. Instead of improving the situation, he only made it worse! John Rustad and other Conservative voices are calling for a change, as many believe Eby is acting like a globalist or even a communist.
